International Conference on Economics, Law and Government (ELG 2026)

SYSTEMIC SUSTAINABILITY ANALYSIS AND POLICY DESIGN IN THE AGE OF MULTIPLE TRANSITIONS

Call for papers

The College of Economics, Law, and Government at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City is pleased to announce the International Conference ELG 2026 on “Systemic Sustainability: Analysis and Policy Design in the Age of Multiple Transitions”. As digital, green, and energy transitions increasingly overlap and amplify global uncertainties, this conference shifts the focus toward “systemic sustainability.” It explores interdisciplinary frameworks and adaptive policy designs necessary for emerging economies like Vietnam to navigate the complex trade-offs and interconnected challenges in a volatile world.

ELG 2026 aims to bridge the gap between academic research and practical governance by fostering dialogue among scholars, policymakers, and practitioners. The conference focuses on developing evidence-based tools and systemic approaches across economics, law, and public management. Beyond academic exchange, it seeks to deliver high-quality publications and actionable policy briefs, affirming UEH-CELG’s position as a premier regional hub for sustainable development research and policy consultancy.

Conference themes:

We invite the submission of academic research (theoretical, empirical, methodological), policy-oriented research (policy papers, policy briefs, case studies) and interdisciplinary papers, international comparative studies, and applications for Vietnam, as well as other developing and emerging economies.
